Job Description: Junior Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accountant
Department: Finance & Accounts

Reports To: Senior Accountant / Finance Manager
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

- Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)

- Maintain ledgers, journals, and other accounting records

- Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements

- Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash management

- Process invoices, bills, and employee expense claims

- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings

- Support internal and external audits

- Maintain organized records and backup of all accounting data

- ️‍♂️ Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies

- Help with monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings

Requirements:

- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance

- 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience

- Basic knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, or any accounting software

- Understanding of accounting principles and tax compliance

- Solid attention to detail and time management

- Good communication and organizational skills
