About the RoleYou are comfortable configuring S instances, writing scripts, troubleshooting lab environments, and translating complex technical documentation into learner-friendly materials. You bring hands-on experience in a SaaS environment and a passion for creating best-in-class content that empowers learners to maximize their understanding and value of the platform. This is a contingent worker role with an expedited onboarding period. The selected candidate will be expected to contribute productively within the first 3-4 weeks, bringing proven technical and instructional design skills from day one. This is not a role where foundational skills will be developed on the job — we need someone who can hit the ground running and deliver quality technical curriculum immediately.ResponsibilitiesServe as a technical SME on assigned products — diving deep into platform capabilities, configurations, and architecture to develop authoritative training content.Create and maintain a diverse range of technically rigorous learning materials: Instructor-Led Training (ILT), On Demand courses, Simulators, interactive modules, video content, and job aids.Convert complex technical product documentation into clear, learner-friendly courseware with real-world, use-case-based examples and guided lab exercises.Design, build, and configure sandbox (lab) environments in Cloud Labs, including instance configuration, plugin activation, data package setup, and environment troubleshooting for each release.Utilize database knowledge to generate realistic data sets and scenarios for hands-on labs and demonstrations that reflect real-life implementation of use cases.Write and maintain scripts and configurations within instances to support lab exercises, demos,
and courseware functionality.Develop training content for Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities on the platform.Create assessments including knowledge checks, performance assessments, certification exams, and credentialing materials that meet quality standards and can withstand legal review.QualificationsGiven the contingent nature of this role and the expectation of immediate contribution, candidates must demonstrate proficiency — not just familiarity — in the required skills below.Background in a Technical Support role or hands-on platform administration experience.Experience with platform or similar enterprise SaaS platforms (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping).Experience with Cloud Labs or similar lab provisioning and management environments.Industry certifications in instructional design, curriculum development, performance improvement, project management, or relevant technical domains.Experience with content management platforms such as Inkling.Familiarity with Generative AI and Agentic AI concepts and their application in enterprise software training.Experience leveraging AI to automate workflows, analyze insights, or integrate AI-driven approaches into content development processes.Required SkillsIntermediate to advanced software development skills: ability to write scripts, configure instances, and automate workflows within a SaaS platform environment.Advanced ability to create, configure, and troubleshoot sandbox/lab environments — including instance setup, plugin management, data package configuration, and setting debugging.Working knowledge of databases:
ability to query, generate, and manipulate data to build realistic lab scenarios and demonstrations.Networking fundamentals: understanding of protocols, connectivity, and how they relate to SaaS platform configuration and troubleshooting.Strong technical problem-solving skills: ability to confidently research, diagnose, and resolve issues within sandbox environments and training instances.Experience working in a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment.Preferred Skills5+ years of experience building education curriculum and content with strong instructional design principles.4+ years of experience in customer-facing education development projects.Demonstrated ability to become a technical SME on products and translate complex technical documentation into effective learning materials.Understanding of adult learning theories and methodologies, with the ability to apply them across diverse delivery formats.Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise, Captivate) and multimedia development tools (e.g., Camtasia, SnagIt, ScreenFlow).Experience with video creation, editing, branding updates, and multimedia production for training content.Experience in rapid development and quick turnaround of training deliverables.Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience incorporating measurement and assessments into learning programs.Pay range and compensation packageBachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Computer Science, or a related field, paired with 5–8 years of direct experience.
