Role & responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
Exposure to Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse for data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Implement best practices for database design, query optimization, and data security.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Support migration of legacy systems to Snowflake and assist in integration with other tools.
Preferred candidate profile
Robust proficiency in SQL (query writing, optimization, indexing).
Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, warehouse management, performance tuning).
Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and concepts (e.g., dbt, Informatica, Talend, or similar).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Experience with scripting languages (Python preferred) for automation.
Robust problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
