The successful candidate must possess the following:
Strong team player, self-motivated, highly organized and able to multi-task in a rapid paced, dynamic setting.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential in order to interact with support groups, clients and vendors.
Experience and a sound understanding of network environments (TCP/IP, Cisco & Aruba routers/switches, Firewall, Load Balancers, WiFi)
Expert-level technical proficiency with F5 LTM, GTM, including performing traffic re-direction
Identify and resolve issues related to load balancing, traffic management, and application delivery using F5 technologies.
Continuously monitor the health and performance of F5 devices, utilizing tools and dashboards to detect and address potential issues proactively.
Redirect traffic as per request.
Verify the condition of a specific pool member, including whether it is active or offline, the time it went offline, and the reason for its going offline.
Organize and prioritize the F5 intake requests based on the criticality and availability of the applications for these extremely time sensitive tasks.
Specific Educational Requirements / Accreditations
Technology Degree/Diploma or equivalent work experience.
CCNA certified with minimum of 5 years work experience in Network Operations/Production setting, or
CCNP certified with minimum of 3 years work experience in Network Operations/Production environment.
CCDP and ITIL certifications are a definite asset to this position.
F5 Certification is PREFERRED
