We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) & Denial Management Specialist to support the revenue cycle operations of a Diagnostic Laboratory Center. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Medicare Part A Institutional (UB-04) claims, insurance follow-up, denial management, appeals, and reimbursement for diagnostic laboratory services. The candidate should possess robust knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines.
Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Denial Management.
Hands-on experience working on Medicare Part A Institutional (UB-04) claims.
Experience in Diagnostic Laboratory, Hospital Laboratory, Pathology, or Institutional Revenue Cycle Management.
Solid understanding of:
Medicare Part A Institutional (UB-04) claims
Revenue Codes and Type of Bill (TOB)
Medical necessity denials
Eligibility and benefits verification
Prior authorization-related denials
CARC and RARC denial codes
Timely filing limits
Appeals and reconsiderations
Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursement guidelines
Experience working with EOBs, ERAs, payer portals, and insurance follow-up.
Solid analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage assigned AR inventory.
