Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular audits of jewellery inventory, cash, and store operations.
Verify stock movement, physical inventory, and reconciliation with system records.
Audit daily sales, purchase, billing, and cash transactions for accuracy.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and internal control procedures.
Identify discrepancies, shortages, excess stock, or process deviations and report findings.
Prepare detailed audit reports with observations and recommendations.
Coordinate with store managers and department heads to resolve audit issues.
Verify documentation related to purchases, sales, returns, and stock transfers.
Monitor compliance with GST, invoicing, and financial documentation standards.
Support surprise audits and periodic branch audits across multiple locations.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and operational information.
Assist management in implementing corrective actions and improving internal controls.
