Job Description:

Purchase Executive – Pharma / Chemical Industry

As a Purchase Executive, you will play a critical role in managing procurement activities for raw materials, intermediates, packaging materials, and services required in the Pharma/Chemical industry. You will ensure timely sourcing while maintaining compliance with quality standards, regulatory norms, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Source and evaluate vendors for chemicals, solvents, and packaging materials
Handle procurement in compliance with GMP, regulatory, and safety standards
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost optimization
Ensure timely availability of materials to support production and R&D; schedules
Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock
Coordinate with QA/QC, Production, and Stores for material specifications and approvals




Monitor supplier performance including quality, delivery timelines, and compliance
Manage documentation such as COA, MSDS, invoices, and purchase records
Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and recent material sources
Develop and maintain solid vendor relationships for long-term procurement strategy

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
1–5 years of experience in procurement within Pharma/Chemical industry
Knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and chemical handling standards
Robust negotiation and vendor management skills
Proficiency in SAP ,Pharma cloud systems and procurement tools

Pay: ₹10,763.45 - ₹37,202.88 per month
