Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring workplace safety, compliance with safety regulations, accident prevention, and implementation of safety standards across the factory.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations.
Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for employees.
Investigate accidents and prepare incident reports.
Monitor use of PPE and safety equipment.
Maintain safety records and documentation.
Coordinate fire safety and emergency response activities.
Requirements:
Diploma/B.Tech in Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Knowledge of industrial safety standards and regulations.
Valuable communication and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred:
Safety certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
