Hiring: Commi Chefs – Kitchen Department

Resort Name: Greenleaf The Resort & Spa, Ganpatipule, 70 Keys

We are looking for passionate and experienced Commi Chefs to join our Kitchen team. Formal hotel-management education is preferred but not mandatory — practical experience, good cooking skills, discipline and willingness to learn are most significant.

Open Positions:
Commi I / Commi II – South Indian & Breakfast: South Indian, Maharashtrian and general breakfast preparation; ability to support breakfast buffet and Hi-Tea.
Commi I / Commi II – Continental & Pantry: Continental dishes, sandwiches, salads, eggs, snacks, pantry preparations and basic buffet operations.
Commi II – Bakery: Basic breads, cakes, desserts, bakery preparation and production.
Commi II – Tandoor: Tandoori dishes, kebabs, Indian breads, marinades and tandoor operations.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
Prepare food as per recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines.
Ensure consistent taste, quality, freshness and timely service.




Complete mise-en-place and support buffet and à la carte operations.
Follow FSSAI food-safety guidelines, kitchen SOPs, FIFO and proper food storage practices.
Maintain strict personal hygiene, workstation cleanliness and kitchen sanitation.
Minimise food wastage and use ingredients responsibly.
Work well with senior chefs and other kitchen team members.
Be punctual, disciplined, hardworking and willing to learn.

Experience: Relevant hands-on experience in the respective section; hotel/resort experience preferred.

Location: Ganpatipule, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra
