Maintain day-to-day accounting records for the broiler branch.
Record feed purchases, chick procurement, medicines, farm expenses, and operational costs.
Handle petty cash and bank transactions.
Prepare vouchers (payment, receipt, journal entries).
Ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
Cost Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor flock-wise production costs.
Prepare weekly and monthly expense reports.
Track feed consumption, mortality rates, and performance-related financial data.
Support management with cost analysis and profitability reports.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain proper documentation of invoices and purchase records.
Ensure compliance with company financial procedures.
Coordinate with auditors during branch audits.
Reconcile supplier accounts and farm contractor payments.
Coordination
Work closely with farm supervisors and branch managers.
Coordinate with Head Office accounts for reporting and reconciliations.
Assist in budget preparation and expense control.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com preferred).
2–4 years of accounting experience (poultry/agriculture experience preferred).
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and taxation.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally / ERP).
Solid analytical and numerical skills.
Ability to work in rural or farm-based branch locations.
