The Assistant Warehouse Manager (KAM) is responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations at the Fresh Food Distribution Centre (FFDC). The role ensures smooth inbound and outbound operations, inventory accuracy, manpower management, timely order fulfillment, compliance with food safety standards, and achievement of operational KPIs while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

Warehouse Operations
Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
Ensure timely unloading and loading of vehicles as per operational schedules.
Monitor dock activities to minimize vehicle turnaround time (TAT).
Ensure 100% order fulfillment within the defined timelines.

Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP
Monitor stock movement and conduct daily cycle counts.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed for all products.

Team Management




Supervise warehouse supervisors, associates, and contractual manpower.
Prepare shift rosters and allocate manpower based on workload.
Monitor attendance, productivity, discipline, and housekeeping.
Conduct daily shift briefings and provide operational guidance.

Process Compliance
Ensure compliance with SOPs, food safety requirements, and quality standards.
Maintain warehouse hygiene as per FSSAI guidelines.
Ensure proper documentation for GRN, inward, outward, stock transfer, and returns.
Verify that all warehouse activities comply with company policies.
