Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated BT Social Science Teacher to teach students from Grades VI to X. The ideal candidate should have robust subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to make Social Science engaging through interactive and activity-based learning.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Social Science (History, Geography, Civics, and Economics) to Grades VI–X as per the CBSE/State Board curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging classroom instruction.
Develop students' understanding of historical events, geographical concepts, civic responsibilities, and economic principles.
Prepare worksheets, assignments, question papers, and assessments.
Monitor student progress and provide academic support.
Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation.
Use smart classroom technology and innovative teaching methods.
Conduct map activities, projects, group discussions,



and educational activities.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, examinations, school events, and departmental activities.
Maintain student attendance, assessment records, and academic reports.
Collaborate with colleagues to improve academic performance and student learning outcomes.

Required Skills
Strong subject knowledge in Social Science
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Effective classroom management
Lesson planning and assessment preparation
Activity-based and student-centered teaching methods
Computer proficiency (MS Office, Smart Boards, School ERP)

Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching CBSE and/or Matric curriculum
Proven ability to improve student academic performance
Knowledge of NEP 2020 and competency-based learning
Ability to integrate technology into classroom teaching

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (Based on qualifications and experience)
