Ensure compliance with site safety rules, standards, and statutory regulations.
Conduct daily safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
Monitor civil construction activities such as excavation, concreting, shuttering, scaffolding, and working at height.
Ensure proper use of PPE (helmets, safety shoes, harnesses, etc.) by all workers.
Conduct safety toolbox talks and training sessions regularly.
Prepare and maintain safety reports, accident records, and inspection checklists.
Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and supervisors to enforce safety practices.
Ensure safety signage, barricading, and emergency procedures are in place.
Liaise with government authorities or safety auditors when required.
