We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with 2 years of experience in product design and engineering. The candidate should have robust knowledge of CAD software, engineering drawings, GD&T;, and manufacturing processes. The role involves designing mechanical components, preparing detailed drawings, and coordinating with production teams to ensure successful project execution.
Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and products.
Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA).
Apply GD&T;, tolerances, and engineering standards in design.
Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM).
Review and modify existing designs based on project requirements.
Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams during product development.
Perform design calculations and feasibility studies.
Ensure designs comply with customer specifications and industry standards.
Support prototype development, testing, and design validation.
Maintain proper documentation and revision control.
Required SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (Creo/CATIA is an added advantage).
Solid knowledge of GD&T;, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
Understanding of sheet metal, machining, welding, and fabrication.
Knowledge of material selection and design calculations.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
