Job Summary
Perform different types of testing as per the test plan or customer spec
Develop and assemble wiring harnesses in accordance with technical specifications.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, wire lists, Bills of Materials (BOM), and assembly instructions.
Perform precise crimping and soldering of wires and components.
Conduct thorough quality checks, including continuity testing and visual inspection for any physical damage, ensuring correct assembly.
Take electrical measurements of wiring harnesses to verify compliance with specifications.
Qualification and Skills
BE/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Proven experience in wiring harness assembly and development processes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and schematics.
In-depth knowledge of wiring harness components such as wires, terminals,
seals, taping, ferrules, and sleeves.
Strong understanding of crimping and soldering processes.
Skill Set
Basic engineering knowledge and testing knowledge
Proven experience in wiring harness assembly and development processes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and schematics.
In-depth knowledge of wiring harness components such as wires, terminals, seals, taping, ferrules, and sleeves.
Solid understanding of crimping and soldering processes.
Experience
3 to 6 years of experience in a testing & wiring harness
