Role & responsibilities
Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of Pickling Plant equipment.
Ensure minimum downtime of mechanical systems during shifts.
Handle complete mechanical maintenance activities during allocated shift.
Attend emergency breakdowns immediately and restore equipment safely.
Coordinate with production team for maintenance planning and shutdown activities.
Maintain shift logbook and breakdown records.
Monitor and maintain:
Pickling tanks
Acid circulation systems
Pumps and pipelines
Agitators
Fume extraction systems
Material handling systems
Wire rod/bar handling conveyors
EOT cranes coordination
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Required Skills
Knowledge of Pickling Plant equipment maintenance
Troubleshooting of pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and conveyors
Knowledge of acid handling area safety practices
Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance
SAP/CMMS knowledge preferred
Robust leadership and shift handling capabilities
