Role & responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Instruct students on the comprehensive ISC Physical Education syllabus, covering topics like sociokinetic aspects, sports training, and health education.
Practical Training: Conduct specialised training sessions in CISCE-approved games.
Board Assessment: Evaluate and maintain meticulous internal assessment records for the 30-mark practical component according to board marking schemes.
Fitness Evaluation: Administer standardised Active CISCE fitness test batteries to assess student agility, cardiovascular endurance, and core physical strength.
Sports Coaching: Identify and nurture talented athletes to represent the institution at CISCE regional and national tournaments.
Event Management: Plan, organise, and execute the annual school sports day, inter-house competitions, and invitational tournaments.
Safety Compliance: Implement strict safety protocols on the field and ensure first-aid readiness during all sporting activities.
Inventory Control: Manage procurement, maintenance,



and periodic stock auditing of all athletic equipment and infrastructure

Preferred candidate profile
Academic Qualification: Must hold a Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) degree from a recognized university or NCTE-approved institution.
Prior Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience handling the ISC/CBSE senior secondary curriculum (Classes XI and XII).
Board Familiarity: Deep understanding of the CISCE guidelines, internal practical assessment parameters, and marking schemes.
Communication Skills: Exceptional command over spoken English to effectively deliver theoretical lectures and conduct practical drills.
Organizational Capabilities: Demonstrated experience in organizing large-scale events like annual sports days, inter-school fixtures, and ASISC tournaments.
Leadership Traits: High energy, motivational spirit, and a solid commitment to mentoring adolescent student-athletes.
