We are looking for an Assembly Incharge to coordinate daily assembly activities, handle shop-floor manpower, monitor production schedules, and ensure assembly work is completed as per drawing, quality requirements, and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Shop-floor Supervision: Lead daily assembly activities, allocate tasks to technicians/operators, and track daily progress.
Drawing Interpretation:Read and interpret 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings to ensure accurate equipment assembly.
Schedule & Coordination: Monitor production timelines to ensure on-time delivery; coordinate with the purchase and stores teams regarding material availability.
Safety & Training:Maintain work discipline, train current workers on assembly procedures, and ensure safe practices in the assembly area.
Reporting:Keep straightforward daily production records and updates using basic MS Excel.
Requirements
Education:ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience:1~4 years of hands-on experience in machinery assembly, automation, or jigs & fixtures manufacturing.
Technical Skills:Highly proficient in reading and interpreting 2D / 3D engineering drawings.
Core Knowledge:Valuable understanding of mechanical parts, tools, fasteners, pneumatic components, and assembly processes.
Shop-floor Skills: Proven ability in basic manpower handling, tracking daily production status, and identifying assembly issues/delays.
Communication: Basic English communication skills to coordinate with management and update reports in Excel.
