Prepare and review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), and Method Statements.
Conduct WPS/PQR/Welder qualification tests as per applicable standards.
Ensure calibration of inspection tools NDT instruments (UT, RT, PT, MT, Hardness tester, etc.).
Ensure correct fit-up of shell plates, annular plates, roof structure, and nozzles.
Welding Inspection: 5.1. Check root gaps, bevel angles, and joint preparations. 5.2. Monitor preheating, interpass temperature, and welding parameters. 5.3. Conduct visual inspection of welds and maintain weld history records.
Witness of DPT/ RT/ Hydro Test / Pneumatic Test / Vacuum Box Test
Verify blasting painting/coating quality (surface preparation, DFT, adhesion test)
Prepare final inspection dossiers (QC records,



NDT reports, test certificates, calibration records).
Maintain Daily QC Reports and Welding Summary Reports
Update Weld Map / Repair Map of the tank
Record all NDT and inspection activities with traceability to welders and joints.
Prepare Final QC Dossier for handover to client.
