Role & responsibilities
Assist in maintenance and repair of press tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
Support tool design and modification using NX, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
Prepare and maintain tool drawings, BOMs, maintenance records, and engineering documents.
Assist in tool trials, troubleshooting, and process improvement activities.
Maintain tooling and spare parts inventory, including stock monitoring and record keeping.
Follow safety, quality, and 5S standards within the tool room.
Preferred candidate profile
Basic knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing and tooling.
Proficiency in NX, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Valuable documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with MS Office and inventory management practices.
