Role & responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails and React.js.
Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
Develop responsive, reusable, and high-performance frontend components.
Design and implement secure, scalable backend services and databases.
Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS.
Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive engineering excellence.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

Preferred candidate profile :
8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
Solid proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.




Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Solid knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
Experience with Redis, Sidekiq, or background job processing.
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
Robust understanding of Git version control.
Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks.
Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT.
Strong understanding of software design patterns, OOP principles, and SOLID principles.
Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
