Role & responsibilities
To operate and maintain Lectra CNC cutting machines for cutting prepreg, fabric, or other composite materials as per nesting programs and work instructions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and minimal material wastage.
Operate Lectra cutting machine according to production schedules and nesting plans.
Load prepreg rolls, fabrics, and materials on the machine and ensure correct alignment.
Run cutting programs, monitor process, and ensure accuracy of ply dimensions.
Perform marking, labeling, and kitting of cut plies as per ply book/production order.
Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks.
Maintain proper records of cut plies, material usage, and wastage.
Prevent Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and maintain clean working setting.
Coordinate with planning and layup teams to ensure timely availability of kits.
Preferred candidate profile
Diploma in Mechnical or related trade.
13 years of experience in CNC cutting machine operation (Lectra/Gerber/Teseo preferred).
Knowledge of prepreg handling and cutting room practices.
Safety-conscious and able to work in a clean room workplace.
