Role & responsibilities

Installation and repair of electrical control panels, equipment and instruments following

the electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications,

using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.

• Replacement of faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays, switches, and

motors etc. using hand tools.

• Diagnosis and replacement of faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components

of machines and equipment.

• Connection of power supply wires to equipment & instruments using hand tools and test

equipment.

• Laying cable trays & cables from electrical control panel to equipment & instruments at





site & termination of individual cable.

• Assist the Site engineer/Project engineer/Project executive for general electrical

maintenance.

• Shall be responsible for quality of workmanship of work/job done.

• Preparing hand sketches of of Control drawing, Power drawing, Panel GA drawing as an

input to the draughtman.

• Preparation of BOQ of electrical items & cable schedule.

• Assisting PLC programmer in programming & testing.

• Always Commit to compliance with all safety standard and regulations.
