We are seeking a dynamic leader to head our Quality Assurance functionoverseeing vendor, factory, and customer quality to ensure manufacturing processes align with business objectives on cost, quality, and delivery.
Role & responsibilities:
As part of production team, the responsibilities of the QC engineer includes the following
Inspection of components and sub assemblies at the vendor's end.
Monitor and improve the quality of operational processes and outputs at vendors sites
Development and maintenance of quality management system documentation
Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
Root Cause Analysis & Appropriate Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions.
Data Collection and statistical analysis.
MIS report generating and circulating to management on a regular basis.
Liaison between procurement and assembly.
Preferred candidate profile :
Proficient in understanding of engineering drawings.
Positive knowledge of GD&T.;
Knowledge and experience in sheet metal fabrication & machining processes.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance and its tools.
Familiarity with the use of MS office.
Must possess positive verbal and written communication skills
