VMC Programmer / Setter / Operator
Create and optimize VMC machining programs.
Set up VMC machines, fixtures, tools, and workpieces.
Set cutting tools, tool offsets, and machining parameters.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets.
Conduct trial runs and first-off inspections before production.
Operate VMC machines to achieve production targets.
Load and unload components safely.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality as per specifications.
Optimize setup time, cycle time, and machining efficiency.
Troubleshoot programming, setup, tooling, and machining issues.
Support operators during setup and production.
Coordinate with Design, Production, and Quality teams.
Perform basic preventive maintenance and maintain machine cleanliness.
Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
Report production status and machine-related issues to the Production Supervisor.
