Role & Responsibilities
Procure raw spices, food ingredients, packaging materials, and plant consumables as per production requirements.
Source, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely supply.
Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts for smooth procurement operations.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials while maintaining optimum inventory levels.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, delivery, and commercial issues.
Maintain purchase records, vendor database, contracts, and procurement MIS.
Identify alternate suppliers and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.




Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
Work on ERP/SAP for purchase transactions, reports, and documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Graduate in any discipline (MBA/Supply Chain preferred).
24 years of procurement experience in Spice Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Processing, or Packaging Industry.
Hands-on experience in procurement of raw spices, food ingredients, packaging materials, and consumables.
Strong knowledge of vendor development, price negotiation, and purchase order management.
Experience in inventory planning and material requirement planning (MRP).
Proficient in ERP/SAP and MS Excel.
Valuable communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced manufacturing workplace and meet procurement timelines.
