We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities for an Injectable Manufacturing Plant / Large Volume Parenteral (LVP) facility. The candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, and ensuring uninterrupted availability of materials required for production.
Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, engineering items, and services.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
Ensure timely procurement in line with production and inventory requirements.
Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Stores,
and Finance teams.
Monitor supplier performance and compliance with quality standards.
Maintain procurement records and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile
8+ years of procurement experience in Injectable Pharma Plants and/or LVP manufacturing.
Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement processes and vendor management.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with ERP/SAP systems will be an added advantage.
