Role & responsibilities
Prepare accurate shop drawings, erection drawings, single-part drawings, and assembly drawings using Tekla Structures.
Develop and maintain detailed 3D structural steel models based on contract drawings and project specifications.
Generate fabrication deliverables including NC/CNC files, material lists, bolt lists, and reports.
Interpret structural and architectural drawings for commercial and industrial projects.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Checkers, and clients to resolve detailing issues and RFIs.
Incorporate design revisions and client comments into Tekla models and drawings.
Ensure all deliverables comply with AISC standards, project specifications, and fabrication requirements.
Deliver high-quality work while meeting project schedules and quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile
Minimum 2 years of experience in structural steel detailing using Tekla Structures.
Candidates must have hands-on experience working on U.S. structural steel projects.




Solid knowledge of structural steel detailing practices and fabrication workflows.
Good understanding of AISC standards.
Experience preparing shop drawings, erection drawings, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings.
Ability to interpret structural design drawings and project specifications.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of up to 2 months are preferred.
