Expertise in paper setting and review assessments and term end paper across all segments of the English Department to maintain quality and consistency.
Strong coordination and leadership skills to maintain departmental efficiency and collaboration.
Ensure the planned curriculum is effectively and consistently implemented across the school.
Reviewing the quality of textbooks and material created by content team.




Reviewing the corrected assessments of the teachers and providing them with appropriate feedback.
Supporting, training and reviewing of teacher created learning material.
Training of teachers.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Should have worked/working as HOD English.

Educational Background:
A masters degree in English or a related field, with recognized teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE).
Experience: Extensive teaching experience with Cambridge IGCSE, AS & A-Level English, and a solid understanding of Cambridge assessment criteria
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a department, mentor teachers, and develop a high-quality curriculum.
Pedagogical Expertise: Strong classroom management and teaching skills, with experience in assessment, feedback, and differentiation to meet diverse student needs
Career development: Commitment to continuous learning and the ability to lead professional development within the department.
