Veloces Engineering Services is looking for a skilled and proactive Commissioning Engineer to join our Field Service Team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of tyre manufacturing equipment, particularly curing presses. The role requires solid technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to respond effectively to customer requirements and emergency breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities
Attend emergency breakdown calls and restore machine operations within committed timelines.
Perform installation, commissioning, and start-up of machinery at customer sites.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend permanent corrective actions.
Program, edit,
and modify PLC/HMI programs as required during commissioning and troubleshooting.
Ensure smooth machine performance and provide technical support to customers.
Prepare service reports and maintain maintenance documentation.
Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.
Follow all safety procedures and company standards during site activities.
