Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and creative Proofreader to review and refine Machine Translation Post-Edited (MTPE) scripts for series and short-form dramas. The ideal candidate will identify and correct grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and contextual errors while preserving the original intent, tone, and emotional impact of the dialogue.

Key Responsibilities
Proofread and edit MTPE scripts for web series, dramas, and other audiovisual content.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and readability while maintaining the intended meaning and style of the original script.
Verify character names, terminology, and formatting across episodes and projects.
Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and terminology across multiple episodes and seasons.
Cross-check references, cultural nuances, and contextual details to ensure authenticity and coherence.
Provide constructive feedback to writers and editors to enhance overall script quality.
Clarify script-related queries and verify linguistic or contextual doubts raised by dubbing artists.




Collaborate with writers, editors, dubbing artists, and project teams to resolve language and context-related issues.
Deliver high-quality work within tight production timelines and adhere to project guidelines.

Requirements
Fluency in both Hindi and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Robust command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style in both languages.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to preserve nuance and emotion in dialogue.
An active, creative mindset with a genuine interest in storytelling and screen content.
Proficiency in using AI-powered language and productivity tools to enhance proofreading efficiency while maintaining sound editorial judgment.
Prior experience in proofreading, editing, localization, or media content is preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
