Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise firewalls, with current experience working at the L2 support level.
Firewall OEM certifications (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, etc.) will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills & Responsibilities
Firewall Administration
Manage and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls, including Palo Alto, Check Point, and Fortinet.
Independently diagnose and resolve firewall-related incidents and issues.
Perform firewall upgrades, configuration changes, and maintenance activities independently.
Coordinate with OEM Technical Assistance Center (TAC) teams for issue resolution when required.
Network Administration
Robust understanding of switching and routing concepts.
Experience in managing and troubleshooting Cisco switches and related network infrastructure.
Web Application Firewall (F5 WAF)
Minimum of 1+ year of hands-on experience in administering F5 Web Application Firewall (WAF).
Configure and onboard recent applications onto the WAF platform.
Analyze, debug, and resolve WAF-related issues while ensuring optimal security and application availability.
Preferred Skills
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently in a production support setting.
Experience with change management and incident management processes.
