We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester with 2 / 3 years of experience in manual testing, preferably with exposure to payment systems testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications through systematic testing processes. The role involves working closely with developers and product managers to identify defects and ensure a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform manual testing of payment systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios based on project requirements.
Conduct API testing using Postman to validate backend services and integrations.
Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system.
Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues.
Participate in design reviews and requirement discussions to identify potential risks and testing requirements.
Ensure software quality through detailed analysis and thorough testing practices.
Maintain test documentation and provide explicit reports on testing results.
Must-Have Skills
2 / 3 years of experience in manual testing
Proven experience in payment systems testing
Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman or similar tools)
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good documentation and organizational skills
Valuable-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies
Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience using defect tracking tools such as Jira
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
