Operate and monitor ammonia plant equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, reactors, heat exchangers, scrubbers, and associated systems.
Conduct routine field rounds and inspect equipment for leaks, abnormal noise, vibration, temperature, and pressure.
Monitor process parameters through DCS/PLC and field instruments.
Start up, shut down, and stabilize plant equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Record process parameters and maintain shift logbooks.
Coordinate with Control Room Operators, Maintenance, Instrumentation, and Utility teams for smooth plant operations.
Identify process deviations and take corrective actions within authorized limits.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, Permit to Work (PTW), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and emergency response procedures.
Report equipment abnormalities and assist in troubleshooting activities.
Participate in planned shutdowns, startups, and maintenance activities.
Maintain housekeeping standards in the assigned operating area.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Follow ISO, EMS, and company quality standards.
