Job Description:

Support for vehicle mechanics and supervisory assistance

Key Responsibilities and Duties

- Loading and Unloading: Safely load, unload, and organize cargo, packages, or materials on company vehicles, ensuring items are secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Delivery Support: Accompany the driver to customer locations, delivering, assembling, or setting up products as required.
- Customer Service: Act as a professional representative of the company, providing exceptional customer service, answering queries, and obtaining required signatures on delivery documentation.
- Vehicle & Route Assistance: Assist drivers with navigation, route planning, and backing up. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking fluids and tire pressure.
- Inventory & Documentation: Verify that the load matches the invoice/shipping paperwork. Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or customer complaints to the supervisor immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies regarding the handling of goods and hazardous materials. Use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and operate equipment like manual pallet jacks or hand trucks safely.
- Maintenance:



Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab and cargo area.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50–100 lbs) frequently, and engage in constant lifting, walking, and bending throughout the shift.
- Communication Skills: Solid verbal communication skills to interact effectively with drivers and customers.
- Reliability: Proven record of punctuality and dependability.
- Logistics Familiarity: Basic understanding of logistics operations, scanning tools, or handheld tracking devices.
- Licensure: Valid driver’s license, with the ability to obtain a Class B CDL preferred (in some cases).

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

- Environment: Frequently work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
- Demands: High-paced work involving constant standing, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours (overtime) as needed to meet delivery schedules.
