GPU Verification Engineer

Experience-(5–10 Years)

Location: Bengaluru

Role Overview

We are looking for a GPU Verification Engineer to verify next-generation Graphics Processing Units (GPU) and compute IPs powering AI, HPC, gaming, and data center platforms. You will be responsible for developing robust verification environments, driving coverage closure, and ensuring first-pass silicon success for complex GPU architectures.

Key Responsibilities

- Verify GPU IP and subsystem functionality using SystemVerilog and UVM methodologies.
- Develop scalable, reusable verification environments, testbenches, sequences, scoreboards, assertions, and functional coverage.
- Understand GPU architecture, graphics pipelines, compute engines, memory hierarchy, cache coherence, scheduling, and interconnect protocols.
- Perform block, subsystem, and SoC-level verification for graphics and compute workloads.
- Develop directed and constrained-random test plans to achieve functional and code coverage closure.
- Debug RTL, verification workplace, and system-level failures using waveform analysis and simulation tools.
- Collaborate closely with architecture, RTL design, firmware, performance, and validation teams throughout the development cycle.
- Drive regression automation, verification sign-off, and quality metrics.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in ASIC/SoC Design Verification.




- Strong expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and Assertions (SVA).
- Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals, computer architecture, and verification methodologies.
- Experience with verification planning, functional coverage, constrained-random verification, and debugging.

Technical Skills

- Languages: SystemVerilog, Verilog, C/C++, Python
- Methodologies: UVM, OVM (preferred), SVA, Functional Coverage
- Protocols/Interfaces: AXI, AHB, APB, NoC, PCIe, DDR, Cache Coherency
- Tools: Synopsys VCS, Cadence Xcelium, QuestaSim, Verdi, DVE
- Experience with regression automation and scripting using Python, Perl, or TCL.

Preferred Experience

- Hands-on verification experience with GPU, Graphics, Display, Compute, Shader, Texture, Cache, Memory Controller, or AI Accelerator IPs.
- Knowledge of GPU microarchitecture including command processors, graphics pipelines, scheduling, memory subsystems, and compute execution models.
- Experience with performance verification, power-aware verification, or formal verification is a plus.
- Exposure to emulation, FPGA prototyping, or post-silicon validation is desirable.
