Role Description

- The Lead Bartender at Circa 11 is responsible for overseeing bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining a high standard of beverage quality.
- This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and includes crafting cocktails and other beverages, guiding guests through the drinks menu, and providing recommendations that align with the venue's progressive concept.
- Day-to-day tasks involve preparing and serving drinks, managing bar inventory, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring proper cash handling and POS transactions.
- The Lead Bartender supports and trains bar staff, upholds hygiene and safety standards, and coordinates with the kitchen and floor teams to deliver a cohesive guest experience.





The role also includes contributing to cocktail menu development, maintaining bar setup and cleanliness, and representing Circa 11's brand values through professional conduct.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage guests, handle inquiries, and ensure a welcoming bar experience.
- Solid Food & Beverage knowledge, including cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and coffee, with an understanding of pairing and presentation.
- Proven Bartending experience, including mixing classic and signature cocktails, maintaining bar standards, and managing peak service times.
- Prior experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment; leadership or shift lead experience is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, with reliable time management.
- Knowledge of local regulations related to serving alcohol, hygiene, and safety; certification in bartending or hospitality is advantageous.
- Professional appearance, attention to detail, and a team-oriented approach to working with bar, floor, and kitchen teams.
