Job Title Expert Cloud Engineer Location Chennai Hybrid Experience 15 years Job Summary We are looking for a highly experienced Expert Cloud Engineer with 15 years of extensive IT experience including a solid background in cloud architecture to lead the design deployment and management of scalable secure and cost-effective cloud solutions The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the cloud strategy collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment of cloud initiatives with business goals Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture and design of enterprise-grade cloud solutions on platforms such as Microsoft Azure Develop and execute cloud strategies including cloud adoption frameworks migration plans and hybrid cloud architectures Define and enforce cloud architecture standards governance security policies and best practices across the organization Architect and oversee complex cloud infrastructure deployments ensuring high availability performance and security Collaborate closely with business leaders IT teams and stakeholders to align cloud solutions with organizational objectives Mentor and guide technical teams in cloud adoption architecture principles and implementation best practices Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code IaC tools such as Terraform ARM Templates or CloudFormation Monitor cloud environments for cost optimization performance tuning and security compliance Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and provide strategic recommendations to enhance business capabilities Lead risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards Prepare and present architecture documentation technical roadmaps and executive reports Required Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field 15 years of overall IT experience with at least 10 years focused on cloud architecture and engineering Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions in Azure Strong expertise in cloud networking security identity management storage compute and monitoring Proven track record of leading large-scale cloud migration and transformation projects Expert knowledge of Infrastructure as Code IaC tools and automation scripting Deep understanding of containerization Docker Kubernetes and microservices architecture Experience with DevOps tools and practices including CI CD pipelines Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills Relevant cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable Preferred Skills Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR HIPAA PCI-DSS Ability to influence organizational cloud strategy and drive innovation Strong mentoring and team leadership abilities Background in enterprise-scale environments within sectors such as finance healthcare or government
