Role Description This is a contract, on-site Software Engineer role based in Doha, Qatar.

The Software

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions to support Resecurity’s ISR and ERMM platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, writing clean and effective code, troubleshooting and debugging software issues, and optimizing system performance. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, and contributing to software architecture and design decisions.

The Software

Engineer will also be expected to follow best practices in secure development,



documentation, and testing to ensure reliability and compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles
- Experience in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go)
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration
- Practical knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns for building maintainable, modular systems
- Familiarity with secure coding practices, cybersecurity concepts, and working with high-security environments is highly beneficial
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered
- Prior exposure to enterprise or government projects, especially in security or intelligence domains, is a plus
