Role Summary
The Diving Engineer is responsible for providing technical and engineering support to all diving and subsea operations within AMC’s offshore projects. The role ensures that diving systems, procedures, and equipment meet regulatory, client, and company standards while enabling safe and effective subsea operations. The Diving Engineer works closely with the Diving Manager, Project Engineers, and HSE teams to ensure technical integrity, compliance, and operational readiness of all diving activities.

Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering support for diving operations, including maintenance, inspection, and repair scopes.
Prepare and review diving-related engineering documents such as procedures, method statements, and risk assessments.
Conduct engineering analysis for diving spreads, lifting systems, and subsea tools.
Ensure diving equipment and systems comply with IMCA, ADCI, and class requirements.
Support diving system mobilization, demobilization, and certification processes.
Review project drawings and identify subsea work interfaces for diving activities.




Liaise with the Diving Supervisor and vessel teams during offshore execution to provide technical solutions.
Monitor equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and life-support system integrity.
Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and risk review sessions for diving operations.
Prepare technical reports, as-built documentation, and lessons-learned summaries.
Support tendering and project planning teams by providing diving-related technical inputs and resource assessments.

Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Offshore Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial diving engineering or subsea operations.
Knowledge of IMCA, ADCI, and DNV diving standards.
Offshore survival and HUET certification (mandatory).
Familiarity with diving system components — DDC, LARS, compressors, and life support systems.
Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design too
