Data Ops Engineer

We are looking for a full-time or part-time remote Data Ops Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our partner's team in Zurich.

In this role you will

Design and implement scalable data monitoring applications and tools
Ensure that batch production scheduling and report distribution is accurate and timely
Select and implement optimal CI/CD tools and processes
Monitor model production and testing processes.
Automate data processing workflows
Able to share knowledge and explain processes and procedures to others

We are looking for

Experience with Azure DataOps
Experience with tools: Azure DevOps, DataBrics, KeyVault, ADSL
Knowledge of Azure Data Ecosystem: Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Storage.
Knowledge of relevant security patterns related to Azure data management
Should be able to establish E2E CI/CD and guide the team on best practices and help them speed up the product release cycle
Experience migrating code from dev to prod
Implement monitoring & alerting for critical components of the platform




Experience setting up automation related to Job Schedules (Azure Databricks Jobs, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse)
Experience with Databricks notebooks
Experience with designing, building, implementing, and supporting monitoring tool solutions, including alerting.
Skilled level of spoken and written English

It is a plus if you

Solid level of spoken and written German

Big plus for those certifications

Microsoft-certified Azure Data Engineer Asociate
Microsoft-certified DevOps Expert
