Company Description Hydrogen Gentech Private Limited (HGPL) is an early mover in India’s green hydrogen sector, focused on replacing fossil fuel–based hydrogen with cleaner, renewable alternatives. The company integrates advanced European Balance-of-Plant systems to deliver turnkey green hydrogen plants based on proven alkaline water electrolysis technology.

HGPL operates in-house fabrication facilities and has executed multiple projects in the 0.25 MW to 0.75 MW range, covering hydrogen generation, purification, and recovery. The company also provides nitrogen and oxygen generation plants, air drying units, and high-purity gas solutions for industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, steel, fertilisers, power, refineries, and research institutions. HGPL offers SCADA-enabled, fully automatic operations with high hydrogen purity and long-life electrolysers, supporting India’s transition to sustainable industrial energy.

Role Description The Quality Control Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for ensuring that HGPL’s hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, and associated plant systems meet defined quality and safety standards. The role involves developing and implementing quality control procedures, inspecting materials and fabricated components, and conducting tests on equipment and systems to verify compliance with internal specifications, client requirements, and relevant standards.

The Quality Control

Engineer will analyze test data, identify non-conformities, coordinate corrective and preventive actions with engineering and production teams,



and maintain detailed documentation of quality reports and inspection records. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with project, design, and fabrication teams, supporting audits, assisting in continuous improvement initiatives, and communicating quality findings and recommendations to stakeholders. The position may also require periodic visits to project sites, vendors, or client locations for inspections and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance for industrial equipment, process plants, or related engineering environments.
- Candidates should possess solid Quality Management capabilities, including experience with quality standards, procedures, and continuous improvement methods.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for interpreting test results, diagnosing quality issues, and recommending data-driven corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document findings, and present quality reports clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in process plants, gas generation systems, EPC projects, or similar industrial settings; exposure to hydrogen or gas systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant quality standards, inspection methods, and safety regulations for industrial equipment and pressure systems.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools, inspection instruments, and basic quality software or documentation tools.
