Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Backend Developer – Associate / Fresher to join our engineering team at Irossa Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or aspiring developers who are interested in backend development, REST APIs, and modern microservices architecture using Python frameworks like Flask and Django.

As part of the team, you will contribute to the development of scalable backend systems, API-driven applications, authentication systems, cloud deployments, and microservices-based architectures used in modern web platforms.

This role provides excellent hands-on exposure to real-world backend engineering practices and modern software development workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Python, Flask, and Django

- Assist in building scalable microservices-based backend systems

- Work with PostgreSQL databases and the Supabase ecosystem

- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT and Supabase Auth

- Collaborate on API integrations and backend architecture

- Support deployment and backend hosting workflows using Render and Vercel.

- Optimize backend performance and caching using Redis

- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices

- Participate in debugging, testing, and backend optimization

- Collaborate with team members on real-world product development

- Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and professional growth

- Maintain confidentiality of company projects, codebases, and internal systems

- Participate in regular review and feedback sessions during the probation period





Requirements

Technical Skills

- Strong fundamentals in Python (functions, OOP concepts, data structures)

- Basic understanding of Flask or Django frameworks

- Understanding of REST APIs and backend development concepts

- Basic understanding of microservices architecture

- Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases

- Basic understanding of Git and GitHub workflows

- Willingness to learn scalable backend systems and cloud deployment workflows

Preferred Skills

- Academic or personal projects related to backend or web application development

- Familiarity with Git workflows (branches, commits, pull requests)

- Exposure to deployment platforms such as Render or Vercel

- Basic understanding of authentication systems like JWT/OAuth

- Interest in scalable backend architecture and performance optimization

Soft Skills

- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

Employment Terms & Conditions

- The first 4 weeks will be a training period without stipend.

- Upon successful completion of the training period, candidates will undergo a 5-month internship with stipend.

- Based on performance during the internship, candidates may be offered a full-time employment opportunity.

The hiring process consists of the following two rounds:

1. Technical Interview (Virtual)

To assess the candidate's technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and practical understanding of relevant technologies.

2. Managerial Interview (Face-to-Face)

To evaluate communication skills, attitude, teamwork, professionalism, and overall suitability for the role.

Probation Period

- Upon joining as a full-time employee, the candidate will undergo a 6-month probation period.

- During this period, technical performance, learning ability, discipline, and teamwork will be continuously evaluated.

- Based on performance, the probation period may be extended if required.

- The company reserves the right to discontinue employment during the probation period if performance is found to be unsatisfactory.

Confirmation of Employment

- Candidates who successfully complete the probation period will be confirmed as full-time employees of the company.

Service Agreement

- Selected candidates will be required to sign an 18-month service agreement with the company upon joining.
