Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and upgrade database software

- Monitor database performance and optimize queries

- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery processes

- Ensure data security, integrity, and access control

- Troubleshoot database issues and minimize downtime

- Support application teams with database design and changes

- Perform routine maintenance, patching, and health checks

- Document database configurations and procedures

Required Technical Skills

- 5+ years of experience into Oracle DB.

- Cloud databases

(Azure SQL, AWS RDS) experience is mandatory

- Robust knowledge of

SQL

- Experience with databases such as:

- Oracle

- Microsoft SQL Server

- MySQL / PostgreSQL

- Backup & recovery strategies

- Performance tuning and indexing

- Database security and user management

- Basic

Linux/Unix administration

- Understanding of high availability and replication
