About the Role & A Day in the Life

As a Junior Python Backend Developer

, you will serve as an integral backend builder, turning functional logic and data-flow requirements into robust, high-performance web applications and RESTful APIs. Your primary mission is to build, test, optimize, and maintain automated backend systems and external integrations with zero defect margins.

Primary Responsibilities

1. API Development & Deployment: Build, test, and deploy RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless updates according to evolving project requirements.

2. Database Design & Management: Design, query, and maintain relational databases (PostPostgreSQL / MySQL), optimizing complex queries for maximum execution speed.

3. Third-Party & Service Integration: Integrate external services, including payment gateways and third-party APIs, as required by the application engine.
4. Code Quality & Optimization: Conduct structured code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and performance tuning.

5. Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical specifications, API documentation, code commentary, and project architecture guides.

6. Testing & CI/CD Pipelines: Execute unit and integration testing, automate test suites (Pytest/unittest),



and manage code deployments via CI/CD pipelines.

7. Frontend Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX and frontend developers to align API endpoints with user interface requirements.

Technical Skills / Tools

- Core Python: Deep proficiency in Python core concepts, including data types, functions, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and exception handling.

- Web Frameworks: Hands-on competence in Django or Flask frameworks, including Django ORM, SQLAlchemy, and architectural patterns (MVT/MVC).

- API Architecture: Demonstrated mastery of RESTful API design principles using Django REST Framework (DRF)
