We are seeking an experienced Informatica PowerCenter & Teradata Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise data integration and data warehousing solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Informatica ETL development and Teradata database technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Design and optimize data integration processes for Teradata databases.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading activities from multiple source systems.
- Create mappings, workflows, sessions, and reusable transformations.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize ETL jobs and SQL queries for performance improvement.
- Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, DBAs, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and adherence to standards.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter
- Expertise in Teradata SQL and Teradata utilities
- Knowledge of ETL and Data Warehousing concepts
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
- Solid SQL scripting skills
- Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
- Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Autosys or Control-M
- Understanding of data modeling concepts
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Exposure to Hadoop/Spark ecosystem
- Knowledge of Informatica administration is an added advantage
- Experience in Banking, Telecom, or Retail domain preferred
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Nice to Have
- Informatica certification
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of data governance and metadata management tools
