Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience in Delphi / Object Pascal development Practical experience with modern Delphi versions (RAD Studio/Delphi 10, Delphi 13 preferred) Strong knowledge of Visual Component Library (VCL), Windows desktop application development Robust understanding of ActiveX libraries, COM components and package management in legacy applications Good hands-on experience of Object orientation concepts and designing principles Good experience in ADO database frameworks, strong SQL skills, including stored procedures,
functions across relational databases Proven experience in legacy application modernization and migration projects Good experience with performance profiling, memory leak detection in Delphi applications Experience with static code analysers, Git version control and unit testing frameworks ex- DUnitX Key Responsibilities Analyse existing Delphi 6 applications and drive-end-to-end migration to advanced Delphi 10+/latest RAD studio versions Refactor legacy Object Pascal code, including modernization of custom components and reusable libraries Upgrade third-party libraries/packages and resolve compatibility, dependency and build/runtime issues Support database integration changes, testing, defect resolution and deployment activities across environments Collaborate closely with Architects, Business analysts, and QA teams to ensure functional parity and performance improvements Document migration approach, technical decisions, risk and remediation plans for stakeholders. Contribute to secure coding, code quality, and maintainability standards for long-term product evolution
