About The Ro le

HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Solutions Engineer / Architect to join their team across India. This role is pivotal in accelerating the adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at the enterprise level, focusing on solution design, technical leadership, and strategic client engagement. The successful candidate will lead opportunities related to cloud migration, modernization, data engineering, and AI-driven automation, working closely with Fortune 2000 clients across diverse industries including banking, retail, healthcare, and telecom.

The role involves collaborating with global sales teams, technical architects, and partners to craft compelling go-to-market strategies and technical solutions that align with the client’s business objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in cloud architecture and a passion for innovative solutions to make a significant impact in a dynamic environme nt.

Qualificat ions The ideal candidate will possess a B.E. / B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. They should have between 5 to 7 years of total IT experience,



with at least 2-3 years specifically working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Technical proficiency in GCP services such as Compute, Storage, and Networking is essential, along with high-level expertise in Data Engineering, including tools like BigQuery and Looker.

A foundational understanding of AI/ML platforms such as Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise, as well as familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), is preferred. Proven experience in working with global system integrator (GSI) partners to develop joint solutions and scale go-to-market initiatives is highly valued. Soft skills such as executive presence, whiteboarding capabilities, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value are crucial for success in this role.

Certifications like Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineer are advantag eous.

Responsibi lities

Collaborate with global sales teams and Google Cloud architects to respond to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and strategic obje ctives.Develop ROI models and hyperscale funding strategies that demonstrate TCO benefits and drive cloud adoption initi atives.Design industry-specific use cases for IT managed services, focusing on cloud migration, modernization, and auto mation.Lead technical workshops and create reference architectures for data center migration, cloud modernization,



and enterprise cloud ad option.Design and implement Google Cloud native applications and data engineering stacks utilizing BigQuery, Looker, and Vertex AI to meet enterprise needs.Innovate and design AI solutions such as Gemini Enterprise Agentic AI and generative AI (GenAI) to enhance enterprise automation and cloud oper ations.Partner with GSI and industry domain experts to build joint solutions, scale go-to-market efforts, and expand solution foot prints.Maintain a high level of industry domain knowledge, particularly in BFSI, RCPG, Telecom, Healthcare, and Manufacturing sectors, to tailor solutions effec tively.
