Tax Operations has the primary responsibility of calculating withholding and Tax liability for the clients across all business units in the firm. Additionally the team also handles client documentation and regulatory information reporting. Sedona is a high volume transaction processing application that centralizes the Tax logic and is responsible for calculating withholding & tax in real time, in addition to facilitating the timely reporting of the millions of transactions to the various tax authorities, globally.
Requirements
- Design and architecture systems for Tax functions (including client documentation, reporting and tax withholding) with high scalability, high throughput, and large amounts of data
- Contribute to the technical design of the strategic engine by evaluating and employing
- Distributed Caching implementations for Multi-threaded and Concurrent Highly-Scalable processing.
- Complex Matching Algorithms for highly versatile, optimized and extremely fast matching
- Organizations enterprise platforms including Forms Engine and Data Lake
- Design and Implement user workflows using BPMN notation
- Manage project deliverables and tasks during development, user acceptance (UAT) and production implementation phases
- Manage user requirements, testing cycles and perform change management duties
- Develop highly scalable, resilient distributed systems using service oriented paradigms
- Perform memory, thread and CPU profiling of all core features for high volume processing and preform process analysis using JProfiler and VisualVM, jMap, jStack, jConsole
