Role Overview

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s end-to-end accounting

functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and timely closure of books.

The role requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in financial controls, taxation, audits,

and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management:

• Maintain and update books of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial entries.

• Perform periodic closing of accounts, including provisions, accruals, and ledger scrutiny.

• Ensure timely bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable management, and expense

accounting.

• Handle vendor and employee payments, ensuring adherence to company policies and

timelines.

Statutory Compliance & Taxation:

• Ensure timely payment and filing of GST, TDS, Professional Tax, PF, and other statutory

dues.

• Prepare and submit GST and TDS returns while reconciling with 26AS and books of

accounts.

• Assist in handling Tax Audits, Tax Assessments, and other statutory filings.





Audit & Financial Reporting:

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for management review.

Process Compliance & Optimization:

• Ensure adherence to company’s financial policies, SOPs, and internal controls.

• Continuously work on improving efficiency in accounting processes and compliance

frameworks.Interdepartmental Coordination & Teamwork:

• Manage a team of Account. Professionals under him / her.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting and financial issues.

• Maintain solid professional relationships with vendors, auditors, and regulatory authorities

Key Competencies & Skills

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IND AS) and financial management.

• Hands-on experience in ZOHO Books, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Payroll for accounting

transactions.
